We preserve the legacy of our ancestors and restore Texas history to its truth.

After signing the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848 and declared end to the Mexican-American War, Mexican government cabinet member Manuel prophesied these words, he died the following year.

Dedicated to The Esparza Sisters of Brownsville, TX. Elma Esparza Wright and Delfina Esparza Perez. They led their lives with love, humility, and selfless service.

Abuleos de Texas is ran by 13th generation Texans. We are anglo descendants of Stephan F. Austins Old 300. Tejano descendants of the Alamos last defender and only Christian burial Gregorio Esparza.

When I was a child visiting the Alamo it was difficult to find Gregorios recognition or any mention of the Tejano Defenders. Thanks to Delfina we eventually did find it after hours of searching. We were thought Gregorios story and it made me wonder why two brothers would be fighting against each other in the battle. I like all children should be thought the truth in school – not the narratives & myths we have overwritten
